Hey Colin! This post is long overdue! Sorry that I'm so tardy. I have a lot of pictures to show you. Check out these orchids that Ivett is growing. Orchids (known scientifically as Orchidaceae) are a huge family of flowering plants with well over 20,000 species! In fact, this wonderful planet of ours has more orchid species than bird species. The orchids that Ivett has cultivated must be the most beautiful.
It turns out that the kitchen window is a great place to grow orchids.
Both of these orchids are Phalaenopsis, even though their coloring is different.
